EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full time 3 years Polytechnical diploma in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Information Technology) in relevant branch, from Institute/University recognized by AICTE/Board of Technical Education of State
• Technician (ITI) Apprentices: Matriculation with regular full time ITI course in respective trade (Electrician/Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant/Fitter/Welder/Mechanic - Electronics Mechanic/Instrumental Mechanic) recognized by NCVT/SCVT

SALARY

Graduate Apprentices: ₹15,000/- Per Month

• Diploma Apprentices: ₹13,500/- Per Month
• ITI Apprentices: ₹12,500/- Per Month
• Training duration is One Year
• No extension of training and employment will be given after completion of one year training by SJVN

AGE LIMIT (AS ON 15/01/2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

AGE RELAXATIONS

• SC/ST Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 5 years (up to 35 years)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 3 years (up to 33 years)
• PwBD Candidates (UR/EWS): Age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 40 years)
• PwBD Candidates (SC/ST): Age relaxation up to 15 years (up to 45 years)
• PwBD Candidates (OBC Non-Creamy Layer): Age relaxation up to 13 years (up to 43 years)

APPLICATION FEE

• General/UR/OBC Candidates: ₹100/-
• SC/ST/EWS/PwBD Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)
• Fee to be paid through Debit card/Credit card/Internet banking on e-recruitment portal
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance

SELECTION PROCESS

• No Interviews: There will be no interviews for selection
• Merit-Based Selection: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list formed on marks secured in examinations
• Weightage for Graduate Apprentice:
• 20% weightage to 10th standard marks
• 20% weightage to 12th/Diploma marks (whichever is higher, in case of both)
• 60% weightage to aggregate marks in Engineering degree
• Total: 100 marks
• Weightage for Diploma Apprentice:
• 30% weightage to 10th standard marks
• 70% weightage to Diploma in Engineering marks
• Total: 100 marks
• Weightage for ITI Apprentice:
• 30% weightage to 10th standard marks
• 70% weightage to ITI marks
• Total: 100 marks
• Tie-Breaking: In case of tie in total marks between two candidates, the one older in age will be considered senior for further selection process
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates shall have to produce all original testimonials/certificates at time of verification
• Medical Fitness: Candidate will have to produce certificate of medical fitness before joining
• Registration: Contracts with selected candidates will be registered under Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT)/National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Portal
