Educational Qualification	10th class under 12th system with min. 50% marks ITI in relevant trads

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

For Electrician, Mechanic (Diesel), Machinist, and Fitter Trades:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks (for candidates with matriculation or ITI certificate)
• OR passed 10th class or equivalent examination

For Welder (Gas & Electrician) Trade:

• Candidates must have passed 8th class examination

Selection Process for PLW Patiala Act Apprentice 2025

Candidates will be selected based on the following process:

• Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be based on merit obtained in Matriculation and ITI examinations
• Merit list will be prepared based on average marks obtained in both Matriculation and ITI examinations
• For candidates who have passed Matriculation with at least 50% marks and completed 50% marks in ITI affiliated by NCVT or SCVT
• Document Verification: Selected candidates will be called for document verification
• Medical Examination: Candidates must bring medical certificate signed by Government Authorized Doctor (Gazetted) at the time of document verification
